A seamless gutter is one continuous run of aluminum or copper, shaped to your roofline right on site. The only joints are at the corners and the downspouts. Sectional gutters are joined every ten feet, and every joint is a place water works its way out once the seam gives. In a New Hampshire winter, it always gives.

Most homes get 5-inch. We step up to 6-inch when the roof is large or the pitch is steep. Installed, that runs about $8 to $18 a foot. You get your real number after we measure the house, and the work is backed for as long as you own it.

Why seamless beats sectional

Every joint is a place a gutter can leak. A sectional gutter has one every ten feet. A seamless run has none until it turns the corner. Add a New England winter, water freezing in the seam and working it wider with each thaw, and the sectional gutter is the one that puts you back on a ladder. Seamless is the one you stop thinking about.

Aluminum or copper

Aluminum is the right call for most homes. It is light, it will not rust, it comes in a wide range of baked-on colors, and it is priced for doing a whole house at once. Copper is the step up for architectural and historic homes. It lasts for generations and weathers to a natural patina, and it is priced to match. We install both.

What size you need

Size is about capacity, not looks. A 6-inch gutter carries a lot more water than a 5-inch and clogs less often, which matters on big roofs and during the heavy rain and fast snowmelt we get here. We size the gutter and the downspouts together, because a downspout that is too small will back up a gutter that is otherwise fine.

How the install goes

  • Free on-site estimate. We measure the rooflines, check the fascia, and hand you a firm written quote, usually within a day.
  • Old gutters removed. We take down the old system, haul it away, and look at the wood behind it before anything new goes up.
  • Formed on your driveway. We roll your gutters to exact length on site, so there are no ordered parts and no waiting on a delivery.
  • Hung, sealed, and tested. Correct pitch to the outlets, hidden hangers, sealed corners, then we run water through to prove it drains.

Colors and styles

Aluminum comes in a wide range of baked-on colors, so the gutters read as part of the trim instead of an afterthought. We match them to your fascia, roof, and siding, and we will tell you which colors hide dirt and streaking best through a New England year.

Good to know

Seamless installation questions.

What are seamless gutters?+

They are formed on site from a single continuous length of aluminum or copper, so the only joints are at the corners and downspout outlets. Sectional gutters are joined every few feet, and each joint is a future leak.

How much does it cost in New Hampshire?+

For most residential projects, seamless installation runs about $8 to $18 per linear foot, and roughly $8 to $20 or more for aluminum depending on material, size, and layout. A full project can range from a few thousand dollars for a modest home to more for a larger one. We give you a firm, free quote on site.

How long does the install take?+

Most single-family homes are done in one day. Because the gutters are rolled to length on your driveway, there is no waiting on ordered sections.

What size gutters do I need?+

Five-inch K-style suits most homes. Six-inch is the upgrade for larger or steeper roofs and heavy runoff, it carries more water and clogs less. We size it to your roof at the estimate.

Do you remove the old gutters?+

Yes, we take down and haul away the old system and inspect the fascia behind it for rot before hanging the new gutters.

Aluminum or copper, which should I choose?+

Aluminum is the right call for most homes: light, rust-proof, priced for a whole-house install, and available in many baked-on colors. Copper is the premium, architectural choice that lasts for generations and weathers to a natural patina, and it is priced to match. We install both and size either to your roof.
