Siding is your home’s coat. When it is sound, it keeps wind and water off the sheathing behind it and holds heat in. When it cracks, warps, or pulls loose, water gets behind it and quietly rots the wall while your heating bill climbs.

We install and repair vinyl siding for New England homes, and we seal the whole envelope, siding, trim, soffit, and fascia, as one system. A full job typically runs about $8,000 to $20,000 depending on the house; repairs cost far less. You get a firm number at the free estimate.

Why siding matters up here

New Hampshire weather is hard on a wall. Freeze-thaw cycles, wind-driven rain, and heavy snow find every gap. Good siding, installed over proper house wrap with the trim sealed, is what keeps that weather on the outside. Failing siding does the opposite: it holds water against the wall and lets the cold straight in.

Siding options

Vinyl is what makes sense for most homes here: it does not need painting, it shrugs off our weather, it comes in a wide range of colors and profiles, and it is priced to do a whole house. Insulated vinyl adds a backing layer that helps with drafts and dents.

How the job goes

  • Free on-site estimate. We look at the walls, the trim, and the condition behind any failing sections, and hand you a written quote.
  • Old siding off, wall checked. Where we are replacing, the old siding comes off and we look at the sheathing and wrap before anything new goes on.
  • Wrap, siding, trim. Proper house wrap, then siding installed to lay flat and lock tight, with the trim, corners, and J-channel sealed.
  • Finished clean. We haul the old material away and leave the site clean.

Siding questions.

What kind of siding do you install?+

Vinyl is the workhorse for New England homes and what most of our siding work is: durable, low-maintenance, and priced for a whole house. We also handle repairs and replacement of damaged sections and the trim around them.

How much does siding cost in New Hampshire?+

A full vinyl siding job on a single-family home typically runs somewhere around $8,000 to $20,000 depending on house size, number of stories, trim detail, and whether old siding is removed. Partial replacement and repairs cost far less. These are typical ranges, not a quote.

Will new siding help with drafts and heating bills?+

It can. New siding, especially insulated vinyl, tightens the exterior envelope and, with proper house wrap behind it, cuts drafts and helps hold heat through a New Hampshire winter. It also stops the water intrusion that rots what is behind failing siding.

Do you fix the trim, soffit, and fascia too?+

Yes. Siding, trim, soffit, and fascia are one exterior system. We repair or replace the boards and trim around the siding so the whole envelope is sealed, not just the flat walls.

Can you match my existing siding?+

For repairs we do our best to match the profile and color, though older or discontinued vinyl can be hard to match exactly. We will tell you honestly at the estimate whether a repair will blend in or whether a larger section is the better call.
